Obituary of Robert P Clemens

Robert (Bob) Clemens of Arvada, Colorado peacefully passed away surrounded by family on November 6th. Bob was the first born of Ray and Othelia Clemens in Ravinia, South Dakota. He grew up in Chamberlain, South Dakota with 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Bob graduated from the University of South Dakota, retired from The Gates Corporation after 30 years.

Bob was either a participant or fan of all sports. He was a long time Bronco season ticket holder and avidly followed the Avalanche, Nuggets, Rockies and golf. He also loved to play slot machines!

Bob’s Catholic faith, wife of 64 years and his family were very important to him. He is survived by his wife Nita, son Michael (Joann) Clemens, daughter Kim (Brian) Richards. Grandchildren Kylie (Diego) Quintana, Macie (Brandon) Altamirano, Ben Clemens, Anthony (Mady) Richards. Great Grandchildren Evie and Charlie Quintana, Alana Altamirano and her baby sister due in February. Siblings Mike (Joan) Clemens, Sheila (LeRoy) Varilek, Tom (Tracy) Clemens, Jane (Larry) Russell, Geri Clemens, Margaret Clemens and sister in law TK Clemens. Preceding him in death are his parents Ray and Othelia, his brother Pat Clemens, his sister Marie Zimmerman.
