Obituary of Cheryl Torres

Cheryl Torres, a mother of three, was called back to Heaven May 24th, 2023. She died peacefully surrounded by family after a long bout with cancer at the age of 64.

Cheryl is survived by her Husband Michael Torres, her children Michael wife Lizbeth Torres, James wife Christina Torres, and Samantha Torres. Along with her 9 grandchildren, James, Joseph, Olivia, Joey, Anastasia, Michael, Cecilia, Christopher and Liliana. As well as her siblings Sandra Aguilar, Ernest Kemm, Carey Urioste, Theodore Kemm. She will be joining her mother Aurelia, father Ernest Kemm, and brother Gregory Kemm in heaven.

Cheryl was born and raised in Commerce City Colorado where she lived her whole life. She was the youngest of six children. After graduating high school Cheryl attended The Art Institute of Colorado, earning her associate degree in design. She married her Husband Michael on September 12th 1981 and had three children. During the children’s younger years she was a devout homeworker, later she began her career as an office administrator for Brannan Sand and Gravel where she worked for 26 years until her retirement. Cheryl loved being a mother and grandmother, she truly lived for her children.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM om June 15th at Aspen Mortuaries in Commerce City Colorado. Followed by a memorial service from 11:30 to 3:30 at the American Legion in Commerce City.
